Well it is the final blog. Throughout the weeks I have faced many challenges. This has been a long process. I started my genius hour out strong and ready to tackle new things. Towards the end things started to go downhill and and had to adjust everything. My goals were succeeded but I'm not satisfied. I did everything I could to keep going, but my body just wouldn't help me out. I leave next Thursday to get the shots and hope it goes well. My trainers have still been helping me out and I have changed my body a lot. I was measured in muscle by inches. On week number 3 I was at 14 1/2 inches, now 5 weeks later I am at 18 inches.  I will continue to keep doing my workouts and keep on going in my fitness journey. Until next week we won't know what happens next, but until next time!

This week has been rough. A week full of pain and bad news. I am supposed to be going on a trip next week. I am still going, but had to re route our flights so we could fly to Dallas Texas to fix my shoulder. About a year and 3 weeks ago was the first time I got a stem cell shot. They told me that I would never have to get it again, but it is needed. I will be getting 2 this time. They are hoping that they don't have to cut it open to arrange some tendons.           As far as my goals I have set them to keep working hard. I already had succeeded my 6 pull ups goal. I will keep working hard and can't wait until this dang shoulder is fixed!!

This week I stepped up my  exercises. I started doing 3 rounds of 15 reps. So far my shoulder is alright,  but it still isn't ready to get back to CrossFit.   My goals this week are to not get hurt and keep working harder. As far as                  my long term goals  they are still up in the air. The picture above is an  exact picture of what I  had done. This is a stem  cell shot. It uses a really  long needle called a  spinal needle. This shot is very expensive, but it works really well.  Stem cells are fundamentally the building blocks of life and have the potential to differentiate into many different types of cells within the body. Stem cells are actively involved in repairing, regenerating, and rebuilding damaged or absent tissue in the body that has been affected by disease, infection, or injury.

This week I have hit a bump in the road. During my trip to Texas I was a the hospital and they told me my shoulder needed repaired. Unfortunately the only way to fix it is surgery. I got 2 shots in my right shoulder. One in the scapula and one up by my neck. These were stem cell shots.  The doctor said that I had to lay off and do light exercises for the next month in order for the shot to work. I am doing this by light lifting, running, and still roping. I am still in full with roping, but less on the CrossFit side.   In the next month I plan to be back at it and as far as my goals I'll have to see where it takes me.
